Matt: 26:18 “My appointed time is near, I am going to celebrate the Passover with My disciples”
Pesach: The season of our freedom – celebrated for one day.
Lev 23:4-5 “These are the appointed times of יהוה, set-apart gatherings which you are to proclaim at their appointed times. In the first month, on the fourteenth day of the month, between the evenings, is the Passover to יהוה.”[On the 14th it is a full moon. YHWH (God) lights up all the nights of the happy feasts or joyous celebration.]
Exo 12:2 “This month is the beginning of months for you, it is the first month of the year for you”
With this YHWH established the Scriptural (Biblical) calendar. The Jews use two calendars: The Biblical and the secular. Christians, for the most part, only use the Babylonian calendar.
WHAT IS PASSOVER?
The Festivals are like a cycle of sanctification that we go through year after year and it starts with Passover.
The Passover was instituted in Egypt, just before YHWH smote the firstborn of Egypt, Israel had to take the blood of the Passover lamb and apply it to the doors of their houses, so that YHWH would pass over when He saw the blood and not let the destroyer enter.
Let us read the account as Moses relates it in Exodus 12: Verse 3
“Speak to all the congregation of Yisra’ĕl, saying, ‘On the tenth day of this month each one of them is to take for himself a lamb, according to the house of his father, a lamb for a household.”
[The idea was to scrutinize the lamb as it had to be spotless. The family also had to care for it away from the other animals. It became like a dear pet in the house which they got to love and then it had to be sacrificed. Just like Yeshua who was so dearly loved by the huge crowds who followed Him and all whom He healed and delivered.]
Exo 12:4 ‘And if the household is too small for the lamb, let him and his neighbour next to his house take it according to the number of the beings, according to each man’s need you make your count for the lamb.”
Exo 12:5 ‘Let the lamb be a perfect one, a year old male. Take it from the sheep or from the goats.”
Exo 12:7 ‘And they shall take some of the blood and put it on the two doorposts and on the lintel of the houses where they eat it.”
Exo 12:8 ‘And they shall eat the flesh on that night, roasted in fire – with unleavened bread and with bitter herbs they shall eat it.”
Exo 12:9 ‘Do not eat it raw, nor boiled at all with water, but roasted in fire, its head with its legs and its inward parts.”
* Historically Passover (Pesach) is all about the sacrifice of a spotless lamb whose blood covered and protected the Israelites from the judgment of YHWH, when the Messenger of death “passed-over” them. So they came out of bondage or slavery into freedom through the blood of a spotless lamb.Exo 12:10-29 ‘And do not leave of it until morning, and what remains of it until morning you are to burn with fire.” ‘And this is how you eat it: your loins girded, your sandals on your feet, and your staff in your hand. And you shall eat it in haste. It is the Passover of יהוה.”
‘And I shall pass through the land of Mitsrayim (Egypt) on that night, and shall smite all the first-born in the land of Mitsrayim, both man and beast. And on all the mighty ones (gods) of Mitsrayim I shall execute judgment. I am יהוה.” ‘And the blood shall be a sign for you on the houses where you are. And when I see the blood, I shall pass over you, and let the plague not come on you to destroy you when I smite the land of Mitsrayim.”
‘And this day shall become to you a remembrance. And you shall observe it as a festival to יהוה throughout your generations – observe it as a festival, an everlasting law.” ‘Seven days you shall eat unleavened bread. Indeed on the first day you cause leaven to cease from your houses. For whoever eats leavened bread from the first day until the seventh day, that being shall be cut off from Yisra’ĕl.”
‘And on the first day is a set-apart gathering, and on the seventh day you have a set-apart gathering. No work at all is done on them, only that which is eaten by every being, that alone is prepared by you.”And Mosheh called for all the elders of Yisra’ĕl and said to them, “Go out and take lambs for yourselves according to your clans, and slaughter the Passover lamb.”
“And you shall take a bunch of hyssop, and dip it in the blood that is in the basin, and strike the lintel and the two doorposts with the blood that is in the basin, and you, none of you shall go out of the door of his house until morning.” “And יהוה shall pass on to smite the Mitsrites, and shall see the blood on the lintel and on the two doorposts, and יהוה shall pass over the door and not allow the destroyer to come into your houses to smite you.”
“And you shall guard this word as a law for you and your sons, forever.” And the children of Yisra’ĕl went away and did so – as יהוה had commanded Mosheh and Aharon, so they did.”And it came to be at midnight that יהוה smote all the first-born in the land of Mitsrayim, from the first-born of Pharaoh who sat on his throne to the first-born of the captive who was in the dungeon, and all the first-born of livestock.”
* The fulfillment of Passover is found in Yeshua’s sacrificial death on the stake (cross) as the Lamb of YHWH. By His blood we are redeemed from the bondage of sin and enter into the freedom of eternal life.
PASSOVER ENCOMPASSES THE THREE FEASTS:
Passover; Unleavened Bread & First Fruits
According to the Scriptures, Passover starts on the 14th of the first month (Abib/Aviv) and unleavened Bread starts on the 15th of Abib. Passover lasts for 1 day while Unleavened Bread lasts for 7 days. First Fruits falls on the 16th of Abib.
WHO MAY CELEBRATE PASSOVER?
Exo 12:48 “And when a stranger sojourns with you and shall perform the Passover to יהוה, let all his males be circumcised, and then let him come near and perform it, and he shall be as a native of the land. But let no uncircumcised eat of it. Exo 12:49 “There is one Torah for the native-born and for the stranger who sojourns among you.”YHWH also had another circumcision in mind. He wants our hearts circumcised, to cut away the flesh of our old nature.
Deu 30:6 “And יהוה your Elohim shall circumcise your heart and the heart of your seed, to love יהוה your Elohim with all your heart and with all your being, so that you might live”
WHY DO WE CELEBRATE PASSOVER?YHWH already gave the answer even before somebody asked the question:
Exo 12:26 “And it shall be, when your children say to you, ‘What does this service mean to you?”
Exo 13:8 “And you shall inform your son in that day, saying,‘It is because of what יהוה did for me when I came up from Mitsrayim.”
Seeing that the Festivals were given to us as reminders, we, Gentile Believers in Yeshua, now grafted into Yisra’el, look back at the fulfilment and every year we marvel in the perfect sacrifice of the spotless Lamb of YHWH. Just like Israel we had to believe, and when we applied the blood of the Lamb to the doorposts of our hearts, we were saved from the bondage of sin.
Passover (Pesach) reveals YHWH’s deliverance from bondage and oppression. The divine deliverance from bondage that Pesach portrays has one very important purpose for us: to remember when we came out of the bondage of sin and how Yeshua led us out through His blood.
Looking back, we know that the Israelites came to freedom through the blood of a spotless lamb. And so did we gentile believers in Yeshua. The blood had to be applied by faith believing the word of YHWH and the condition was to stay under the protection of the blood.
Exo 12:22 “And you shall take a bunch of hyssop, and dip it in the blood that is in the basin, and strike the lintel and the two doorposts with the blood that is in the basin, and you, none of you shall go out of the door of his house until morning.
Exo 12:23 “And יהוה shall pass on to smite the Mitsrites, and shall see the blood on the lintel and on the two doorposts, and יהוה shall pass over the door and not allow the destroyer to come into your houses to smite you.”
HOW DO WE CELEBRATE PASSOVER?
The Word gives us a few guidelines which we will look at.
Exo 12:8 ‘And they shall eat the flesh on that night, roasted in fire – with unleavened bread and with bitter herbs they shall eat it.”
1. The Lamb
The main feature of the Passover meal was the ROASTED Passover Lamb. Roasting speaks of the fire of affliction. After it was killed, its blood was sprinkled on the tops and sides of the doors of the houses. Then they had to eat of the lamb. Everyone was to partake. The body and the blood of the lamb speaks of the body and the blood of Yeshua, the Lamb of YHWH.
For 1500 years the Israelites rehearsed the sacrifice of the lamb as they celebrated Passover, and then the time came when John the Baptist said of Yeshua…
Joh 1:29 “See, the Lamb of Elohim who takes away the sin of the world!”
The Passover lamb protected a household in Egypt, but the Lamb of YHWH takes away the sin of the world.
2. Bitter Herbs
They symbol of the bitter life under the bondage of slavery to sin. We can all remember how dead we were in our trespasses and sins in which we used to live, when we followed the ways of the world and the ruler of the kingdom of the air.
No matter how we tried to escape, we could not. We needed to be delivered from the bondage of slavery, just like the Israelites in Egypt.
3. Unleavened Bread
The Hebrew word for unleavened bread is Matzah. In this context leaven means sin. Yeshua Himself explained the meaning of leaven or yeast when He referred to some of the teachings of the Pharisees as leaven in matt 16:12
Mat 16:12 “Then they understood that He did not say to beware of the leaven of bread, but of the teaching of the Pharisees and the Sadducees.”
Like leaven in Matzah, this kind of teaching is to be avoided, because a little leaven works through the whole batch of dough, as Sha’ul (Paul) says in 1 Cor 5:6.
When Yeshua took the matzah and blessed it after the Passover mean, telling His taught ones (Disciples) that the matzah resembled His body, He was saying that like matzah, He too, was without sin.
The spiritual application for us can be found in:
1 Cor 5: 7-8 “Therefore cleanse out the old leaven, so that you are a new lump, as you are unleavened. For also Messiah our Passover was offered for us. So then LET US OBSERVE THE FESTIVAL, not with old leaven, nor with the leaven of evil and wickedness, but with the unleavened bread of sincerity and truth.”Here Sha’ul (Paul) is speaking to us, gentile believers, explaining to us how to keep the Feast and not even debating whether we should or shouldn’t. They (disciples) only added their new-found understanding about the life, death, burial, resurrection and ascension of Yeshua to their already existing system of praise according to the custom of the Passover.
As we celebrate the Feast, we ponder these truths again..
The Torah [which is the Hebrew for Teaching, or Instructions, and also Covenant] was never destroyed or abolished or cancelled by Yeshua or the disciples.
Mat 5:17-20 “Do not think that I came to destroy the Torah or the Prophets. I did not come to destroy but to complete. “For truly, I say to you, till the heaven and the earth pass away, one jot or one tittle shall by no means pass from the Torah till all be done.
“Whoever, then, breaks one of the least of these commands, and teaches men so, shall be called least in the reign of the heavens; but whoever does and teaches them, he shall be called great in the reign of the heavens. “For I say to you, that unless your righteousness exceeds that of the scribes and Pharisees, you shall by no means enter into the reign of the heavens.’
PASSOVER AND THE COMMUNION
Why did Yeshua say the following in Luke 22:15:
“With desire I have desired to eat this Passover with you before My suffering”
Because He had a very important thing to do, namely to institute the Renewed Covenant and to show the progression from Passover to Communion.
When I was born again, I thought Communion was just one of those “New Testament” things that you believe and receive. I was so surprised to realize that YHWH is an Elohyim (God) of order and that He had planned the whole story of redemption before He even made the earth and He gave it to His covenant people to rehearse so that they will understand when the fulfilment comes.
Some people wonder whether they should keep Passover or communion. For us as Believers in Yeshua it is a privilege to keep both. We celebrate Passover at the appointed time, as the Word commands and we use communion “whenever”, as in 1 Cor 11:23-26.
Sharing with His disciples the cup and the matzah (unleavened bread), Yeshua proclaimed with prophetic action the breaking of His own body and shedding of His own blood.
THE RENEWED COVENANT AND COMMUNION
Luke 22:20 “Likewise the cup also, after supper, saying, “This cup is the renewed covenant in My blood which is shed for you”
In essence Yeshua equated His blood with the token or sign of the New Testament or Renewed Covenant. It is the Renewed Covenant spoken of in Jeremiah 31
Verse 31-33 “See, the days are coming,” declares יהוה, “when I shall make a new covenant with the house of Yisra’ĕl and with the house of Yehuḏah, not like the covenant I made with their fathers in the day when I took them by the hand to bring them out of the land of Mitsrayim, My covenant which they broke, though I was a husband to them,” declares יהוה.
“For this is the covenant I shall make with the house of Yisra’ĕl after those days, declares יהוה: I shall put My Torah in their inward parts, and write it on their hearts. And I shall be their Elohim, and they shall be My people.”
In the Feast of Weeks [or Pentecost] we learn that it is the Torah that is written on the heart of everyone who participates in the Renewed Covenant by believing in Yeshua and obeying YHWH’s instructions.
The word “chadasha” in Hebrew means “renewed”, must like the moon (or month). It is renewed with every month.
When Yeshua said: “This is the Renewed Covenant in My blood“, He knew that Yisra’el needed a renewed covenant, because they have violated the covenant made at Sinai.
When a covenant is renewed, sometimes a few of the conditions of the covenant were modified. The Renewed Covenant (New Testament) is just such a modified covenant. The book of Hebrews tells us that the only thing which was modified was that Yeshua fulfilled all the commandments required for temple and sacrificial observances. Yeshua became both our High Priest and our Sacrifice, rendering the commandments concerning the temple and sacrificial system unnecessary.
Just note that this covenant did not nullify the covenants made with Abraham and Moses. It only compliments them.
Mat 26:26 And as they were eating, יהושע took bread, and having blessed, broke and gave it to the taught ones and said, “Take, eat, this is My body.”
The Cup of Redemption:
Exo 6:6 ‘I am יהוה, and shall redeem you with an outstretched arm” [what a vivid picture of our Messiah on the stake (cross)]
1 Co 11:26 “For as often as you eat this bread and drink this cup, you proclaim the death of the Master until He comes.”
Why His death and not His birthday? He never had anything to say about His birthday or that we should remember or celebrate it (christ-mass). It is through His death that we received life, and so many blessings!
Let us proclaim them together…
* Yeshua was punished, that we might be forgiven [Is 53:4]
* Yeshua was wounded, that we might be healed [Is 53:5]
* Yeshua was made sin with our sinfulness that we might be made righteous with His righteousness [Is 53:10]
* Yeshua died our death, that we might receive His life [Heb 2:9]
* Yeshua was made a curse, that we might enter into a blessing [Gal 3:13]
* Yeshua endured our poverty, that we might share His abundance [2 Cor 8:9 and 9:8]
* Yeshua bore our shame, that we might share His glory [Matt 27:35]
* Yeshua endured our rejection, that we might have His acceptance with the Father [Matt 27:46]
* Yeshua was cut off by death, that we might be joined to Elohyim (God) eternally [1 Cor 6:17]
* Our old “man” was put to death in Him that they new man might come to life in us [Col 3:9]
SHADOWS AND FULFILMENT
Let us look at a few of the shadows of the Passover and how Yeshua fulfilled them.
The lambs for Passover were reared in Bethlehem
Yeshua the Lamb of YHWH was born in Bethlehem
Bethlehem is Beit Lechem in Hebrew, which means ‘house of bread’.
Yeshua, the Bread of Life, was born in the House of Bread.
The lambs were led to the temple 4 days before Passover, on the
10th of Abib (or Nisan). They came with a procession of people singing from Psalms 113-118 dancing and waving palm branches.
Fulfilment:In Matt 21 we read about the triumphal entry of Yeshua being led into the city by a procession of singers and people shouting proclamations about Him. Fulfilment of Zech 9:9 ‘your King comes to you…riding a donkey’.
Cleansing of the homes of leaven:
Exo 13:7 “Unleavened bread is to be eaten the seven days, and whatever is leavened is not to be seen with you, and leaven is not to be seen with you within all your border.”
Cleansing of the temple by Yeshua:
Matt 21:12 “And יהושע went into the Set-apart Place of Elohim and drove out all those buying and selling in the Set-apart Place, and overturned the tables of the moneychangers and the seats of those who sold doves”
The lambs are being scrutinized in the temple area for 4 days to make sure they are without spot or blemish.
Yeshua was tested in the temple by the Pharisees and Teachers of Torah.
Matt 21:23; Matt 22:15; Luke 23:14
Pilot and Herod proclaimed Him without fault and blameless.
Luke 23:14b A Lamb without blemish
1 P 1:19
During the Passover meal 4 cups are taken (Jewish tradition). The 3rd is the cup of Redemption – I will redeem you with an outstretched arm.
Yeshua hung on the stake (cross) with outstretched arms and so redeemed us.
The middle matzah (Jewish tradition) [which points to the Mediating Priest – Yeshua] is broken and eaten. And the 3rd cup is drunk.
Yeshua instituted the communion. Read Matt 26:26 ; Luke 22:14
“Take this bread, this is My body broken for you. This cup is the renewed covenant in My blood”.
Ex 12:46 gives the command: no bones of the lamb shall be broken
Yeshua died before they needed to break His legs [John 19:31-34]
The blood of a spotless lamb was to be applied to the door posts of their houses
The blood of Yeshua is applied to the door posts of our hearts.
Yisra’el came out of bondage into freedom through the blood of a spotless lamb
We do the same!
The Passover lamb was killed to save a household
The Lamb of YHWH was crucified for the sins of the world.
The Passover lamb was sacrificed each year
Yeshua our Passover Lamb was sacrificed once for all. Heb 7:27b
The High Priest sacrificed the Passover Lamb.
Yeshua became the High Priest and sacrificed Himself as the Lamb of YHWH.
The Passover lamb was tied to the altar at the 3rd hour (9am)
Yeshua was crucified at the 3rd hour (9am)
At the ninth hour (3 pm) the High Priest killed the lamb and he said “It is finished”.
At 3 pm Yeshua breathed His last saying, “It is finished”.
The Feast of Unleavened Bread is celebrated for 7 days, starting the day after Passover, 15th Abib.
The Feast of First Fruits is celebrated for one day, on the 16th of Abib.
Click here to learn why we celebrate Passover and not Easter/Ishtar.
Easter is a day that is honored by nearly all of contemporary Christianity and is used to celebrate the resurrection of Yeshua [or Jesus].
The holiday often involves a church service at sunrise, a feast which includes an “Easter Ham”, decorated eggs and stories about rabbits.
The purpose of this tract is to help answer those questions, and to help those who seek truth to draw their own conclusions. The first thing we must understand is that professing Christians were not the only ones who celebrated a festival called “Easter.”
“Ishtar”, which is pronounced “Easter” was a day that commemorated the resurrection of one of their gods that they called “Tammuz”, who was believed to be the only begotten son of the moon-goddess and the sun-god.
In those ancient times, there was a man named Nimrod, who was the grandson of one of Noah’s son named Ham. Ham had a son named Cush who married a woman named Semiramis.Cush and Semiramis then had a son named him “Nimrod.”
After the death of his father, Nimrod married his own mother and became a powerful King.
The Bible tells of of this man, Nimrod, in Genesis 10:8-10 as follows: “And Cush begat Nimrod: he began to be a mighty one in the earth. He was a mighty hunter before the Lord: wherefore it is said, even as Nimrod the mighty hunter before the Lord. And the beginning of his kingdom was Babel, and Erech, and Accad, and Calneh, in the land of Shinar.”
Nimrod became a god-man to the people and Semiramis, his wife and mother, became the powerful Queen of ancient Babylon. Nimrod was eventually killed by an enemy, and his body was cut in pieces and sent to various parts of his kingdom.
Semiramis had all of the parts gathered, except for one part that could not be found. That missing part was his reproductive organ. Semiramis claimed that Nimrod could not come back to life without it and told the people of Babylon that Nimrod had ascended to the sun and was now to be called “Baal”, the sun god.
Queen Semiramis also proclaimed that Baal would be present on earth in the form of a flame, whether candle or lamp, when used in worship. Semiramis was creating a mystery religion, and with the help of Satan, she set herself up as a goddess.
Semiramis claimed that she was immaculately conceived. She taught that the moon was a goddess that went through a 28 day cycle and ovulated when full. She further claimed that she came down from the moon in a giant moon egg that fell into the Euphrates River.
This was to have happened at the time of the first full moon after the spring equinox. Semiramis became known as “Ishtar” which is pronounced “Easter”, and her moon egg became known as “Ishtar’s” egg.”
Ishtar soon became pregnant and claimed that it was the rays of the sun-god Baal that caused her to conceive. The son that she brought forth was named Tammuz.
Tammuz was noted to be especially fond of rabbits, and they became sacred in the ancient religion, because Tammuz was believed to be the son of the sun-god, Baal. Tammuz, like his supposed father, became a hunter. The day came when Tammuz was killed by a wild pig.
Queen Ishtar told the people that Tammuz was now ascended to his father, Baal, and that the two of them would be with the worshippers in the sacred candle or lamp flame as Father, Son and Spirit. Ishtar, who was now worshipped as the “Mother of God and Queen of Heaven”, continued to build her mystery religion.
The queen told the worshippers that when Tammuz was killed by the wild pig, some of his blood fell on the stump of an evergreen tree, and the stump grew into a full new tree overnight. This made the evergreen tree sacred by the blood of Tammuz. She also proclaimed a forty day period of time of sorrow each year prior to the anniversary of the death of Tammuz.
During this time, no meat was to be eaten. Worshippers were to meditate upon the sacred mysteries of Baal and Tammuz, and to make the sign of the “T” in front of their hearts as they worshipped. They also ate sacred cakes with the marking of a “T” or cross on the top.
Every year, on the first Sunday after the first full moon after the spring equinox, a celebration was made. It was Ishtar’s Sunday and was celebrated with rabbits and eggs Ishtar also proclaimed that because Tammuz was killed by a pig, that a pig must be eaten on that Sunday.
By now, the readers of this tract should have made the connection that paganism has infiltrated the contemporary “Christian” churches, and further study indicates that this paganism came in by way of the Roman Catholic System.
The truth is that Easter has nothing whatsoever to do with the resurrection of our Lord Jesus Christ. We also know that Easter can be as much as three weeks away from the Passover, because the pagan holiday is always set as the first Sunday after the first full moon after the spring equinox.
Some have wondered why the word “Easter” is in the the King James Bible? It is because Acts, chapter 12, tells us that it was the evil King Herod, who was planning to celebrate Easter, and not the Christians.
The true Passover and pagan Easter sometimes coincide, but in some years, they are a great distance apart. So much more could be said, and we have much more information for you, if you are a seeker of the truth. We know that the Bible tells us in John 4:24, “God is a Spirit: and they that worship him must worship him in spirit and in truth.”
The truth is that the forty days of Lent, eggs, rabbits, hot cross buns and the Easter ham have everything to do with the ancient pagan religion of Mystery Babylon. These are all antichrist activities! Satan is a master deceiver, and has filled the lives of well-meaning, professing Christians with idolatry.
These things bring the wrath of God upon children of disobedience, who try to make pagan customs of Baal worship Christian. You must answer for your activities and for what you teach your children.
These customs of Easter honor Baal, who is also Satan, and is still worshipped as the “Rising Sun” and his house is the “House of the Rising Sun.”
How many churches have “sunrise services” on Ishtar’s day and face the rising sun in the East? How many will use colored eggs and rabbit stories, as they did in ancient Babylon. These things are no joke, any more than Judgement day is a joke.
I pray to God that this tract will cause you to search for more truth. We will be glad to help you by providing more information and by praying for you. These are the last days, and it is time to repent, come out and be separate.

I feel that every Christian should read Constantine’s Creed.
In a way, Constantine was the founder of “Christianity”
The Constantine Creed
“I renounce all customs, rites, legalisms, unleavened breads and sacrifices of lambs of the Hebrews, and all the other feasts of the Hebrews, sacrifices, prayers, aspirations, purifications, sanctifications, and propitiations, and fasts and new moons, and Sabbaths, and superstitions, and hymns and chants, and observances and synagogues. absolutely everything Jewish, every Law, rite and custom and if afterwards I shall wish to deny and return to Jewish superstition, or shall be found eating with Jews, or feasting with them, or secretly conversing and condemning the Christian religion instead of openly confuting them and condemning their vain faith, then let the trembling of Cain and the leprosy of Gehazi cleave to me, as well as the legal punishments to which I acknowledge myself liable. And may I be an anathema in the world to come, and may my soul be set down with Satan and the devils.”(Stefano Assemani, Acta Sanctorium Martyrum Orientalium at Occidentalium, Vol. 1, Rome 1748, page 105)
“I accept all customs, rites, legalism, and feasts of the Romans, sacrifices. Prayers, purifications with water, sanctifications by Pontificus Maxmus (high priests of Rome), propitiations, and feasts, and the New Sabbath “So! dei” (day of the Sun, ), all new chants and observances, and all the foods and drinks of the Romans. In other words, I absolutely accept everything Roman, every new law, rite and custom, of Rome, and the New Roman Religion.”Additionally, in approximately 365 AD, the Council of Laodicea wrote, in one of their canons:
“Christians must not judaize by resting on the Sabbath, but must work on that day. Rather, honoring the Lord’s Day. But if any shall be found to be Judaizers, let them be anathema (against) from Christ”.Note: Protestants are included as they still observe the holidays and sabbath of Rome, as in “are you going to church this coming Lord’s day”.
Concerning Antiochus Epiphanes…
He set up an image of Zeus in the Temple which was the Abomination of Desolation spoken of in Daniel 11. For 3 years, he continued to desecrate the Temple.
These were the new laws that Antiochus set up:
Thou shall profane the Sabbath
Thou shall change the set times (festivals) and laws
Thou shall set up idols
Thou shall eat unclean animals
Thou shall not circumcise
Thou shall forget Torah
3 years and 2 months later, the Temple was taken back and rededicated. This is known as the Feast of Dedication, or Festival of Lights, or Hanukkah.
What’s really ironic…..these laws were created by an antichrist Antiochus, and are the same things Constantine would later repeat and this is what people want to live by today. Totally going against God’s Word. People today are living under laws created by Antiochus and Constantine; an antichrist.
They choose to believe pork, cockroaches, hearts and testicles, etc. can be eaten,
that shopping and working on Sabbath is okay, because according to them, there is no Sabbath,
that the feasts of YHWH are not to be celebrated and most don’t even know the 7 Feasts, yet, they know the pagan feasts and celebrate them,
they believe that circumcision are for the Jews, and actually, so are all the law (Torah), where YHWH clearly said there is ONE set of rules (One Torah) for all.
And if we study this out for ourselves, we learn that Yeshua is the Word made flesh. He is the living Torah. He is the only Way to Father. There is only one Yeshua, and One Way.
They choose to live by the pagan calendar and most don’t even know that our Creator God has a Name!
Yet, these same Christians believe that homosexuality, bestiality and incest are sin, whereas 1 John 3:4 clearly says that sinning is breaking Torah (the law). We cannot pick & choose which law… there is only One, the complete one. As David said in Psalms, the Torah is perfect, it is light, the Way, Truth, Life… He was describing YHWH’s instructions, and pointing to Yeshua, Who taught us how to keep it.
Yeshua took our past sin upon Him, and became the sacrifice for our ignorant sin, but Hebrews 10:26 tells us that if we keep on sinning after we have learned the truth, there will be no sacrifice (no Yeshua, no salvation – Yeshua meaning YHWH is salvation) for us.
Now tell me again…
Whose laws are most Christians keeping and what are they “taught” in “church”?
It’s not a fashion accessory or a Jewish “thing”, it’s an obedience to YHWH [God] “thing”.
Below are some Scripture references regarding the wearing of fringes in the four corners of our garments. I look at the fringes kind of like a wedding ring. They are a sign of my covenant with my creator. Yahweh knows that we are forgetful people and sometimes we need physical reminders about our covenant with Him. They’re kind of like the original WWJD bracelets, but better because they are Scriptural. They remind us to walk as we ought to walk (according to the commandments of Yahweh!) It’s awesome!
Mark 6:56 tells us that “whithersoever he (Yeshua) entered, into villages, or cities, or country, they laid the sick in the streets, and besought him that they might touch if it were but the border (wings, hem, Hebrew: tzitzit) of his garment: and as many as touched him were made whole. The Torah commands us to wear the tzitzit, which are fringes or tassels, at the four borders (Heb: tzitzit – corners, wings) of our garments. This is to be a reminder to keep the commandments of Yahweh.
Here’s what the Scripture says about the wearing of fringes:
Num.15:37 And Yahweh spake unto Moses, saying, 38 Speak unto the children of Israel, and bid them that they make them fringes (Hebrew: tzitzit) in the borders (Heb: Kanaph – corners, wings) of their garments throughout their generations, and that they put upon the fringe of the borders a ribband of blue: 39 And it shall be unto you for a fringe (tzitzit), that ye may look upon it, and remember all the commandments of Yahweh, and do them; and that ye seek not after your own heart and your own eyes, after which ye use to go a whoring: 40 That ye may remember, and do all my commandments, and be holy unto your Elohim. 41 I am Yahweh your Elohim, which brought you out of the land of Egypt, to be your Elohim: I am Yahweh your Elohim.
Deut. 22:12 Thou shalt make thee fringes (tzit-tzit) upon the four borders (Heb: “Kanaph” – corners, wings) of thy vesture, wherewith thou coverest thyself.
Read the following prophecy in Malachi chapter 4.
Mal 4:1 For, behold, the day cometh, that shall burn as an oven; and all the proud, yea, and all that do wickedly, shall be stubble: and the day that cometh shall burn them up, saith Yahweh of hosts, that it shall leave them neither root nor branch. 2 But unto you that fear my name shall the Sun of righteousness arise with healing in his wings (tzit-tzit); and ye shall go forth, and grow up as calves of the stall. 3 And ye shall tread down the wicked; for they shall be ashes under the soles of your feet in the day that I shall do this, saith Yahweh of hosts. 4 Remember ye the law of Moses my servant, which I commanded unto him in Horeb for all Israel, with the statutes and judgments. 5 Behold, I will send you Elijah the prophet before the coming of the great and dreadful day of Yahweh: 6 And he shall turn the heart of the fathers to the children, and the heart of the children to their fathers, lest I come and smite the earth with a curse. The Jews believe the Sun of Righteousness would be the Messiah, who would have the power to heal who ever touched the tzitzit (fringes) on his garment.
The fulfillment of this prophecy by Yeshua is found in one of the best known miracles of healing that He performed. This was the occasion when a woman who had suffered from an issue of blood for twelve years came up behind him and touched the hem (border or wings) of his garment where the tzitzit were and was healed. She expressed her faith in Yeshua as the Son of Righteousness with healing in His wings (Hebrew: tzitzit). Both Matthew and Mark tell us about this incident below. Mark further tells us, that wherever Yeshua went, all who merely touched the border of his garment were made whole.
Matt 9:20 And, behold, a woman, which was diseased with an issue of blood twelve years, came behind him, and touched the hem (border, wings, Hebrew: tzitzit) of his garment: 21 For she said within herself, If I may but touch his garment, I shall be whole. 22 But Yeshua turned him about, and when he saw her, he said, Daughter, be of good comfort; thy faith hath made thee whole. And the woman was made whole from that hour.
Mar 5:25 And a certain woman, which had an issue of blood twelve years, 26 And had suffered many things of many physicians, and had spent all that she had, and was nothing bettered, but rather grew worse, 27 When she had heard of Yeshua, came in the press behind, and touched his garment. 28 For she said, If I may touch but his clothes, I shall be whole. 29 And straightway the fountain of her blood was dried up; and she felt in her body that she was healed of that plague. 30 And Yeshua, immediately knowing in himself that virtue had gone out of him, turned him about in the press, and said, Who touched my clothes? 31 And his disciples said unto him, Thou seest the multitude thronging thee, and sayest thou, Who touched me? 32 And he looked round about to see her that had done this thing. 33 But the woman fearing and trembling, knowing what was done in her, came and fell down before him, and told him all the truth. 34 And he said unto her, Daughter, thy faith hath made thee whole; go in peace, and be whole of thy plague. Then the Scriptures tell of others who touched but the hem of his garment and were made whole!
Mar 6:54 And when they were come out of the ship, straightway they knew him, 55 And ran through that whole region round about, and began to carry about in beds those that were sick, where they heard he was. 56 And whithersoever he entered, into villages, or cities, or country, they laid the sick in the streets, and besought him that they might touch if it were but the border (wings, hem, Hebrew: tzitzit) of his garment: and as many as touched him were made whole.
Modern day Jewish men still keep part of this commandment by having the tassels (fringes) on the corners of their tallit or tallit katan, but most will not use the blue thread because it became too expensive to get a certain type of blue dye that the rabbis thought it should be, therefore they wear only white tzitzits. BUT, we like to keep it simple. The Scripture never says what type of material the threads should be made of. It also doesn’t say it could only be one specific color of blue. I believe that we ALL should obey the Scriptures and wear the fringes with a thread of blue in them to be in obedience to the commandment.
We believe the fringes/tzitzit are to be worn by all of YHWH’s people (men, women, and children). The Hebrew word translated as children in these verses is Bnai. Bnai is used when speaking to any group of people with even one man in the group. Therefore, if I were speaking to 500 women and 1 man, I would address them as Bnai. Anyone who considers themself to be a child of Yahweh, the Elohim of Israel, is called Bnai Yisrael. This same application of the word Bnai applies to almost all of Yahweh’s commandments. For example, it isn’t only the men who are commanded to have a Sabbath rest or keep the clean food laws. All of Yahweh’s children are to do these things and in turn recieve the blessings that come through obedience.
You are not following Jewish tradition by wearing the tzittzit. You ARE obeying Yahweh as commanded in the Torah, just as the Messiah obeyed and you are walking in the footsteps of the Messiah! The more you are willing to obey, the more you will understand His word.
In the attached gallery, you will see people from all walk of life, not just Jews. Wearing tassels is about obedience, being set apart/different from the world. We realize and appreciate that this might be something completely new to you, but that doesn’t mean that we are wrong, a sect or in bondage. Research it, test everything, and then make an informed decision before you make a decision based on ignorance.

21 “Not everyone who says to Me, ‘Lord, Lord,’ shall enter the kingdom of heaven, but he who does the will of My Father in heaven. 22 Many will say to Me in that day, ‘Lord, Lord, have we not prophesied in Your name, cast out demons in Your name, and done many wonders in Your name?’ 23 And then I will declare to them, ‘I never knew you; depart from Me, you who practice lawlessness!’1 John 3:4
4 Whoever commits sin also commits lawlessness, and sin is lawlessness.
26 For if we sin willfully after we have received the knowledge of the truth, there no longer remains a sacrifice for sins, 27 but a certain fearful expectation of judgment, and fiery indignation which will devour the adversaries. 28 Anyone who has rejected Moses’ law dies without mercy on the testimony of two or three witnesses. 29 Of how much worse punishment, do you suppose, will he be thought worthy who has trampled the Son of God underfoot, counted the blood of the covenant by which he was sanctified a common thing, and insulted the Spirit of grace? 30 For we know Him who said, “Vengeance is Mine, I will repay,”[e] says the Lord.[f] And again, “The Lord will judge His people.”[g] 31 It is a fearful thing to fall into the hands of the living GodWhen we repent and accept Yeshua (Jesus) as our Messiah and Savior, He forgives us of our sin. He has authority over sin and the consequences of sin, having suffered and died on our behalf.
But after that, there is an expectation that we live by the spirit and not by the flesh. It is the only way to exhibit the fruit of the spirit: Galatians 5:22
But the fruit of the Spirit is love, joy, peace, longsuffering, kindness, goodness, faithfulness, 23 gentleness, self-control. Against such there is no law.But the fruit of the flesh is also defined: Galatians 5:19-21
Now the works of the flesh are evident, which are: adultery,[c] fornication, uncleanness, lewdness, 20 idolatry, sorcery, hatred, contentions, jealousies, outbursts of wrath, selfish ambitions, dissensions, heresies, 21 envy, murders,[d] drunkenness, revelries, and the like; of which I tell you beforehand, just as I also told you in time past, that those who practice such things will not inherit the kingdom of God.Galatians 5:16-18
16 I say then: Walk in the Spirit, and you shall not fulfill the lust of the flesh. 17 For the flesh lusts against the Spirit, and the Spirit against the flesh; and these are contrary to one another, so that you do not do the things that you wish. 18 But if you are led by the Spirit, you are not under the law.If you build the foundation of your life on these ideas, you will be in covenant with YHWH. If you live by the spirit, you will not suffer a certain fearful expectation of judgment, mentioned in Hebrews 10.
If you mess up, grace will cover you. You can repent and turn your ways back to the Father.
Willful sin, however, is a big problem.
If you find yourself uttering this common phrase "I'm just a sinner saved by grace" you may want to consider these ideas I'm presenting here. Not popular ideas, but solidly based in Scripture.
If you continue to sin without concern, because of grace... Please read Hebrews 10.
Don't take my word for it. Use scripture. Read it and believe it.
Think about it... what exactly are preachers and pastors teaching when they tell you not to obey God's Instructions? They are teaching and promoting lawlessness/disobedience. So who would you rather believe?
